* Michael Molin-Skelton (www.movements-matter.com)

* Melissa Michaels & Golden Bridge Youth Leaders (www.goldenbridge.org)

* Tess Howell (www.wildmoves.org)

Our moving journey over the three days together will include the following topics:

  • Rites of passage as a map understanding and navigating through these challenging and initiatory times

  • Studies for fostering ever more environmental and social justice on and off the dance floor

  • Tools for unwinding trauma in the body

  • Earth based movement practices for our personal and collective regeneration

  • Inspiration supporting our creative action moving forward

Each Day includes:

  • A warm-up

  • Teachings on the gathering topics. Resources and inspiration for our inner and outer work

  • A deep themed embodied exploration of the teachings and how they relate to our unique work as teachers around the world

  • Break out groups for intimate conversation and contemplation

  • Community harvest of the day’s discoveries

  • Reconnection and intimacy with our international teachers movement community

  • Grounded framework for navigating through these times for both ourselves and our dancing communities

  • Concrete resources for self and collective regulation

  • Exposure to Sociocracy in action during the General Assembly

  • Included will be educational materials for further study and incorporation of the weekend’s and the world’s call to action

3 days deep journey of Connection, Learning and Community as we move towards a more sustainable future:

Rites of passage as a map for understanding these times and initiatory processes throughout all time. Life crisis and change. Where have we been during this time of initiation? Our ordeals and our awakenings.

Deepening our studies as we move towards sustainability and inclusion. Unwinding trauma as we continue our learning about Social and Environmental Justice.

Earth intimacy. Moving from the sacred ground of our diverse bodies in connection with all of life.

Local Hubs:

If you feel called to create LITTLE HUBS IN YOUR GEOGRAPHIC AREA (depending on your country’s regulations), GO FOR IT!

We love to imagine that within the Zoom platform, there will also be some of you able to gather in the same room to experience this journey physically together while connected to our international community.

If you decide to go for such a local hub, please let us know by emailing info@icmta.com so that our facilitators take it into account.

About the Event pricing

Diversity is at the core of the ICMTA and in accordance with our diversity policy we are looking at ourselves as an organisation and also each of us as individual teachers. One of the ways we want to be as INCLUSIVE as possible is in the pricing structures.

The organisation is almost, but not quite entirely, run by volunteers; by teachers who contribute time, energy and care to make this a body of work we can all be proud to be part of.

Here is our pricing structure:

ICMTA Non-Members

For non-members the price is Euros 160 or 120 if you book early (before March 16). As a non-member you are very, very welcome to come to the Gathering. Of course, we hope you'll join the ICMTA sooner or later, but you don't have to, you're welcome just the same.

ICMTA Members

If you are a Member of ICMTA the cost is Euro 120 or 90 if you book early (before March 16).

ICMTA Working Circle Members

If you work on a circle (thank you!), then you are a Working Circle Member and there is a special price for you, Euros 100 or 70 if you book early.

We want to offer members in hardship a concessionary rate. We have a short process to go through in that situation. We want to make it possible for you to come: Euros 100 and 70 for booking early before March 16) In case of a need, please submit an application form .

Hardship Fund - can you help?

And - finally - if you can afford to offer anything into a hardship fund to help your colleagues attend please contact (info@icmta.com)

Every little Euro helps make it possible for others to come.

Teachers Together, supporting each other in many ways, and in this instance, helping financially.

Accessibility Information

We plan to run the gathering in an inclusive and diverse way.  We welcome hearing directly from gathering participants who have particular access or other needs - there is a section in the registration form where you can let us know what will help you participate or you can e-mail info@icmta.com.
