The International Conscious Movement Teachers Association is an international professional network of qualified movement teachers from different schools who offer dance and movement practice as a path to wholeness.
Practitioners trained or training to teach 5Rhythms®, Azul Embodied Movement,BISO - Body in Soul, Devon School of Soul Motion,freedomDANCE, Middle Earth Medicine Ways, Movement Medicine®, Open Floor, SomaSource or Soul Motion (trained by Vincent Martínez-Grieco), are all eligible for membership.
Created by teachers for teachers in 2013, the ICMTA is a not-for-profit organisation. We are led by our members and use dynamic governance (sociocracy) as our way of working - an innovative system that promotes collective intelligence and responsibility, in place of traditional power structures.
The ICMTA is registered in Belgium and has members across the world.
