ICMTA Teachers' Gathering
Every year since its creation in 2013, the ICMTA hosts an heartful gathering for conscious movement teachers. Until now it was held in different European countries and online during Covid time. This year, the ICMTA Teachers' Gathering takes place in Boulder, Colorado, USA, on 4th - 6th October 2024. This 11th edition is co-created with Golden Bridge, the organisation offering SomaSource teachers training, one of the professional conscious dance training recognised by the ICMTA. We would be delighted to have you with us whether on-site or online. Some of the events will be held in hybrid format, so even if you cannot join in person, you can enjoy the gathering richness and join us from home. It is not a workshop or a training but a field of common exploration around a theme, weaved & led by teachers from our different conscious dance schools. Of course we dance a lot, enriched by the various flavours of all our dance modalities! And the topics and sharings offered can be explored further in the Continuing Professional Development program that we offer throughout the year. Testimonies
The Teachers' Gathering is an event for conscious movement teachers, and teachers in training, from any of the ICMTA recognised schools (5Rhythms®, Azul Embodied Movement, BISO - Body in Soul, Devon School of Soul Motion, freedomDANCE, Middle Earth Medicine Ways, Movement Medicine®, Open Floor, SomaSource, and Soul Motion trained by Vincent Martinez-Grieco). You don’t have to be an ICMTA member to join us. To honour our recent Climate Policy and follow the success of our online Gatherings, we have decided to provide a mix of in-person Gatherings and online offering in future. We wish to keep bringing the gathering to different continents. If you are interested in helping us organise a TG in Australia / New Zealand, please contact us.
