Feet 1st
Feet 1st is a monthly gathering for teachers - ICMTA members.
Feet 1st is always on the 1st of each month. Timing will be different each time to include different time zones. Feet 1st is for teachers by teachers; it is any of us that can hold a session and we are all welcome to come to dance. The annual rhythm includes 8 "Regular" Feet 1st sessions & 4 quarterly "Turning of the Seasons" workshops. Regular Feet 1st is a 1 hour dance and 15-30 minutes to hang out together afterwards. We all are holding others a lot. This is a space for us to be held - by your own feet and by your own tribe. If you would like to offer to hold a Regular Feet 1st session, click on the button and fill in your name to an available date: Feet 1st - The Turning of the Seasons These sessions will be a focus on a very particular area of professional development and education. For example, inclusivity work on the dance floor, music and DJ skills, non-violent communication, sexuality, creative processes such as writing/theatre/voice work in conscious movement spaces. They will be 1,5 hours long, different to the one hour movement and sharing sessions held by teachers for teachers. Please see more about these here. |
