We collect information when you join ICMTA and we use that data to deliver your membership benefits. The data is held and used on the basis of legitimate interests.

When you register for our newsletter we keep your data on the basis of consent.

What data do we keep and why do we need it?

For everyone:

• Name: this is basic information that identifies who you are.
• E-mail: to send you occasional ICMTA updates that you have requested.

For ICMTA members:

• Address, phone number: we primarily contact you by e-mail and would only do so by telephone if we aren’t able to reach you by e-mail first. 
• Details of your conscious movement training and school: this helps us to maintain training standards, uphold the ethical values of the association, and understand the needs of the membership and provide the membership benefits. 
• We keep records of your financial transactions made through the Wild Apricot membership system.

How will we use your data?

For members:

• We will use your data to provide your membership with ICMTA, to manage your account and contact you about your membership.

For non-members:

• To send you the newsletter you have registered for.

Your access to and control over information

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address info@icmta.com :

• See what data we have about you, if any.
• Change/correct any data we have about you.
• Have us delete any data we have about you.
• Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

How will we store your data?

We store your membership data in a membership system (Wild Apricot). When you are no longer a member we will archive your data immediately, so that you are able to reactivate your membership should you wish to.

You can request to have your data deleted at any time. If you wish to have all your data deleted, your membership will lapse.
