Founders' Panel: From Integrity to Impact

Founders' Panel

From Integrity to Impact in the Conscious Movement Field

(part of the Teachers' Gathering 2026)

Friday October 9th 2026, 9:00 PM BST

1 PM PDT- 4 PM EST - 10 PM CEST - 11 PM MSK - Oct 10th 7 AM AEDT - Oct 10th 9 AM NZDT

We decided to open the Founders' Panel - which is a part of this year's Teachers' Gathering - to those who cannot make it to the whole Gathering.

This will be a very special moment as for the first time we managed to gather so many founders (and co-founders) of our recognised schools in one place! As conscious dance teachers of many different modalities, let's gather for this unique panel discussion about Integrity and Impact in our work as teachers.

The panel discussion will be held and moderated by Ben Yeger, Movement Medicine teacher, peace activist, and ICMTA Board member. You can read more about Ben here.

Open to all ICMTA members for a voluntary contribution (recommended 20 euros) - all profit will go directly to the Teachers' Gathering Solidarity Fund. Please send your contribution through this form.

Come meet the founders at the heart of our field!

Confirmed panelists:

• Bernice Raabis (Dance The Medicine founder)
• Caroline Carey (Middle Earth Medicine founder)
• Deborah Lewin (Open Floor founding member)
• Melissa Michaels (SomaSource founder)
• Ya'acov Darling Khan (Movement Medicine co-founder)

With video contributions from:

• Alex Svoboda (freedomDANCE founder)
• Amara Pagano (Azul Embodied Awakening founder)
• Cathy Ryan (BISO - Body in Soul co-founder)
• Leela Fisk (Soul Motion Devon founder)
